Former presidential candidate Marco Rubio on Tuesday misspelled "United States" [the "Untied States"] in a letter in which he asked not to have his delegates released.
Rubio's letter, to the Alaska Republican Party, asked that the delegates he won in the state's caucus remain bound to him at the Republican convention this summer.
“The decision to suspend my campaign for president of the Untied States [sic] is not intended to release any national convention delegates bound to me as a result of the 2016 delegate selection process that took place in your state,” he wrote.
Rubio suspended his White House run earlier this month after finishing second in Florida’s GOP presidential primary.
