The first family is getting in on the holiday spirit!

Just a day after the Trumps kicked off the new season by welcoming a 20-foot Christmas tree to the White House (with Melania donning a festive red-and-black Michael Kors cape coat), the couple once again got into the holiday spirit with the annual White House turkey pardoning
President's Trump cracked quite the eyebrow-raising joke about the Florida concession during the annual tradition, but it was Melania's unusual look that had everyone talking.

For the occasion, the first lady opted for a Dior color-block coat, a design which ironically reminded many of its similarities to a turkey.
“Pardon me turkey, I believe I’ll steal your wardrobe," joked one Twitter user. "How nice of Melania to dress up like the guest of honor," commented another.
Wrote one Twitter user: "Melania trying to be sneaky. “S’cuse me. I am turkey. Please pardon.”
Some were merely disappointed with FLOTUS' look overall.
"FFS, I hope fake @FLOTUS kept the receipt for that hideous coat. My God, what was she thinking?," wrote one user.
"I checked on Wayfair, the area rug Melania is wearing is sold out," tweeted one commenter.

The designer get-up is a drastically different choice than last year's look. For the 2017 event, the first lady opted for a bold, monochromatic brown look, which included a form-fitting leather skirt and busy coat.
